Ciara Castagno

 

Mrs. Ciara Castagno is a graduate from the College of Health and Human Services : Exercise Science. Post-Bachelors she pursued a dual masters degree in Sport Science and Sports Studies from the U.S.S.A, Southeast U.S.A Olympic Training Center through 2012. In conjunction with the masters program, Mrs. Castagno ran competitively for Team Trysports through 2011 with a pinnacle competition at the USATF CLUB Nationals Cross Country Championships. Mrs. Castagno holds licensure through ACE (personal training) and ACSM (E-CP; Exercise Physiologist). 

     In 2017, Mrs. Castagno began the entrepreneurial adventure with her husband, Ret. Army Captain Christopher Castagno - STAG Human Performance. She has published over 20 professionally accredited research pieces and continues to speak internationally on topics pertaining to exercise science, health, and sports medicine. From 2016-2018 she was named Charlotte's Top Female Personal Trainer by Elevate Lifestyle Magazine, In 2017 Men's Health and Fitness Magazine named her one of the TOP 21 Personal Trainers in the nation, and In 2018 she was deemed a Top 5 Finalist for HERS Health & Fitness Magazine as Ms. Health & Fitness, 2018 STANDOUT for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- Charlotte Chapter & 2018 Top 10 Under 10 by UNC Charlotte as one of the top 10 most successful alumni. 

    Mrs. Castagno is a regular health & wellness writer for a number of magazines including Fitness Trainer Magazine, Refinery 29, Carolina Finess, and Men's Health. She is also WCCB Charlotte's health & wellness expert.

Eddie Davila, MS, ACSM-RCEP, ACSM-EP-C, EIM3, CEAS

Eddie earned his masters is exercise physiology and nutrition with a minor emphasis in statistics. He's works in both the clinical and fitness industries helping clients and professionals achieve their goals. Eddie also teaches anatomy and advanced exercise testing and prescription courses at the academic level. He serves on two committees for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and is also certified as a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Certified Exercise Physiologist through the ACSM.

Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology with Nutrition and Minor in Statistics

Sarah M Stewart,  BS, CES, CET, CPT

A native to Califormia who is the Founder and creator of Kinetic Fit Systems. Whose passion is to educate and enhance adherence to a comprehensive fitness and wellness program. Interested in connecting with others and enhance my knowledge in all related fields of exercise science in order to bring it to my clientele and audience.

 

Sarah’s passion has always been involving movement with science.  She believes anyone can understand their individual body more in depth if they are given the right tools, have a little patience,  and have the right chemistry in a coach/trainer!  She has coached kids who wanted to win 10K’s in the adult races, parent’s who needed to focus on their family life, athletes who were struggling with grades and sport, and professional athletes who needed to perform to make a living.  She volunteers for anything puppy related and is passionate lover of movement, health and related.

Bio: Daryl Shute, M.Sc., CSCS

Daryl Shute is a 30-year veteran of the Fitness and Sports Performance Industry. He has extensive leadership, sales and education experience throughout his career. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA. Daryl loves to share his knowledge of health and fitness, new products, and customer service initiatives to facility owners, operators and staff.
