BACKGROUND

Integrative training means integrative. Client education, exercise prescription, program design,
neuromuscular training, core strengthening, motor learning and motor control are the
fundamental elements of  integrative training. Learn about each of these elements and
how they synergistically affect and compliment one another. Core strengthening and
umbo-pelvic stabilization accompanied by evidenced based research will provide deep

This dynamic course is part of Advanced Training Specialist(ATS) certification created by PTCS.

PTCS created five separate courses that examine how human movement occurs from the
inside out, biomechanically & synergistically. These five separate courses were designed to
teach the foundation science, functional assessments and application science behind
human movement. Teaching you the 'science behind the movement'. These five separate
courses compliment one another. Learn the anatomy & biomechanics required for daily &

sport specific movement, the biomechanics behind all movements, and functional
assessments, findings and how to train clients based on evidenced based research.

This course was designed & peer reviewed teaching the ‘why’ behind everything.

Course Overview:

The course begins with introducing the essential integrative training components of training. The foundation of neuromuscular training, motor control and motor learning are extensively discussed. Spinal stabilization accompanied by evidenced based research will provide deep insight with effective stabilization training. Next, learn about what human movement training is and why it is important to understand with all clients. Illustrations throughout this unit provide insightful clarification. Lastly, learn what the latest research says about stretching. In sum, this is an ideal resource for personal trainers who truly want to understand the science behind the movement and the wish to work effectively with any client. This course is offered to you in a distance-learning format providing advanced continuing education for personal trainers who truly want to take their knowledge and training to the next level.
